Restaurants, bars and cafes
The streets around Surf Parade and the Oasis precinct carry one of the highest concentrations of hospitality venues on the coast. Venues turn over, rebrand and refit often, and each change brings new electrical work: commercial kitchen circuits, three-phase equipment, feature lighting, outdoor dining lighting and point-of-sale power and data.
Kitchens are hard on electrical gear. Heat, grease and steam shorten the life of fittings and cause nuisance tripping, and a single fault on a Friday night costs real money. Retail fit-outs
Retail tenancies in and around the shopping centres and along the main streets need to be fitted out to both the landlord’s design criteria and the Wiring Rules. We work from the landlord’s requirements, coordinate with shopfitters and handle the final testing and certification. Apartment living in Broadbeach
Most Broadbeach residents live in apartments, and the buildings range widely in age. The older low-rise blocks off the beach often have original unit boards and ageing common area wiring. Newer towers have more sophisticated systems but still need maintenance, emergency lighting testing and occasional upgrades.
Inside units, we do switchboard upgrades, lighting and power changes during renovations, air conditioning circuits and smoke alarms. Houses and Broadbeach Waters
West of the highway, the housing shifts to detached homes along the canals of Broadbeach Waters and the streets around it. Those homes bring the usual canal list: pool equipment, outdoor entertaining areas, pontoon lighting and switchboards that have been added to over the years.
