Springwood’s commercial centre
For a suburb of its size, Springwood has a lot of commercial floor space. Accountants, lawyers, insurers, medical practices, government services and small corporate offices are spread across low and mid-rise buildings near the motorway. That makes office tenancy work our main commercial job here.
A typical Springwood tenancy job involves reworking lighting and power for a new layout, adding circuits for kitchens, printers and comms, and running data cabling to the new desks. We also handle make-good at lease end, where the space needs to go back to base building condition.
Medical and allied health suites
Springwood has a strong cluster of GPs, specialists, dentists, physiotherapists and allied health clinics. These fit-outs need more planning than a standard office: dedicated circuits for equipment, plenty of power in treatment rooms, good task lighting and sometimes backup arrangements for critical equipment. See our healthcare and medical page for details.
Ongoing maintenance for building owners
Owners and property managers with Springwood buildings can set us up for regular maintenance. That can include six-monthly emergency and exit light testing, lighting repairs in common areas and car parks, thermal imaging of main boards and test and tag. Each visit is reported in writing so you have a record for insurers and tenants.
Homes on the hills
Springwood’s residential streets climb over the hills, with mostly brick homes from the 1970s through the 1990s, many split-level or built on sloping blocks. Some things we see often:
- Boards with limited safety switch coverage, needing a switchboard upgrade
- Undercroft rooms and garages wired as an afterthought
- Outdoor lighting and power for decks and pools that have weathered badly
- Older downlights ready for LED replacement
- Owners adding air conditioning and EV chargers
Sloping blocks can make cable runs to sheds, pools and lower levels longer than expected, and we size these to keep voltage drop in check.
Conveniently located
With both motorways meeting at Springwood, it is one of the simplest areas for us to reach, and we often group work here with jobs in Eight Mile Plains, Logan Central and Loganholme.
What you get from us
Workplace EV charging
A growing number of Springwood offices are being asked by staff about charging at work. Before any chargers go in, we check the building’s spare capacity and recommend a setup with load management so chargers share the available supply, planned so more bays can be added later without starting again. Our commercial EV charging page explains the options for tenants and building owners.
What you get from us
Upfront written quotes, work to AS/NZS 3000, a tidy site and a compliance certificate at the end. Stefan runs the work himself, so you deal with the same person from quote to completion.
